VETRO E MATERIALI PLASTICI /
Glass and plastic materials

Glass and plastics are part of the complementary processes that Pagotto srl uses in the development of a product, when required. Our experience and coordinating strength, at a technical level, in fact, plays a key role in the realisation of the various parts that compose a finished and industrialised project. In furnishing and lighting, for example, often, the products aren’t of a single material and this is the blend, the alchemy between parts, that makes the difference. For over twenty years, we have worked and coordinated all the steps of processing between design and development of the finished product, with a deep technical knowledge, even of non-metallic components.

IL VETRO/ Glass

UNA PASSIONE MILLENARIA/
A THOUSAND-YEAR PASSION

Glass For thousands of years man has been searching for the fine lustre and ductility of glass. A form of art, decoration and function in many aspects of daily life. With industrial production and technological innovations which have developed and that represent a constantly evolving sector, today, this material meets millions of needs and functionalities. Recently, we have integrated metallurgical processes with those of glass , thus creating an accessory service, for the customer, when their needs are addressed to lighting, custom-made designs and products or component production in this material.

LAVORAZIONI DEL VETRO IN LASTRA/
Flat glass processing

Flat glass processing for different types of flat glass, with different and multiple processes and accessory finishes.

LAVORAZIONE DEL TUBO IN VETRO BOROSILICATO/
Borosilicate tube processing

Borosilicate tube processing more heatresistant and more stable, once finished, it’s harder, brighter and more resistant to stress.

LAVORAZIONE DEL VETRO A SOFFIAGGIO/
Blowing glass processing

Blowing glass processing as that of Murano, which, among its various characteristics, allows paste glass colouring and, therefore, the possibility to customise it totally.

MATERIALI PLASTICI/ Plastic materials

UNA GRANDE ALLEANZA/
A GREAT ALLIANCE

Plastic materials In the metal product design, some portions of these require plastic processing. We offer pragmatic support in the development of these components, producing them with the most coherent and efficient technologies to achieve the best performance. For many years we have been producing plastic materials for lighting, furniture and industry.

TERMOFORMATURA/
Thermoforming

Thermoforming is a process of thermal deformation that takes place under pressure or vacuum depending on the quality and the type of product to be made: vacuum, forming a plate of hot plastic material on the mould, and under pressure, using air force and the thrust it exerts on the steel mould. Suitable for small series and for large or highly complex products.

ROTAZIONALE/
Rotational moulding

Rotational moulding is a low-pressure and high-temperature heat production process for the manufacturing of hollow, stress-free products, that don’t require successive welding and assembly steps. Simple and complex shapes can be created through the creation of steel or metal moulds, in which plastic is forged, without waste. Totally customisable, it’s ideal for small and medium product series.

SOFFIAGGIO/
Blowing plastic processing

Blowing plastic processing is a process in which a molten plastic matrix is extruded in a vertical tube form, which, in turn, is pressed inside two halves of a mould. This tube is then blown by air, to create the internal shape of the mould, and, subsequently, cooled and released into the final shape to be made. As for the glass, the plastic colour can be mixed in paste for important series.

INIEZIONE/
Plastic injection

Plastic injection is a plastic moulding process that consists of melting thermoplastic polymers, that, once made malleable, are injected, under pressure, into the mould cavity, which fills and solidifies to obtain the final product. This process, based on the automation of production, is aimed at the creation of large quantities, capable of amortising the mould cost.
