Saldatura a laser è un procedimento mediante il quale si vanno a congiungere due porzioni di metalli attraverso il laser, con o senza metallo di apporto. Viene utilizzata quando il materiale da saldare debba subire deformazioni minime e poco estese. Attraverso le frequenze e le intensità della luce laser, la sollecitazione al calore risulta inferiore, rispetto ad altri tipi di saldature e con una precisione maggiore. Può essere utilizzata su differenziate dimensioni di prodotto.
Laser welding is a process by which two metal portions are joined through a laser. It is mainly used when the material to be welded has to undergo a minimal deformation, because, through the laser’s light frequencies and intensity, there is a lower heat stress than other types of welding and greater precision. It can be used on small and large products and/or components.
